I think they're riding on their years of operation. The service is nothing special bordering on indifferent. The roast beef wasn't anything to write home about , rather bland and without the juice would have been tasteless. And for what they charge you could go a few blocks south to Roll N Roaster and have MUCH better meal cooked to order. Good for a single visit to see how it was back in the day but one and done is how I'd describe this place.

So So GOOD, the BEST Roast beef in Brooklyn. Even the cheese Burger was delicious. Can't say enough good things about this place. It's a MUST if you live in Brooklyn, if not, YOUR LOSS. Again, SO,SO GOOD.

Old school restaurant. Get the roast beef or roast beef burger and the apple pie al a mode. An order of crispy onion rings is almost more than one can eat. Corn fritters were good too.

You have to try the Roast Beef with cheese it is the classic and to die for! It is cash only so plan for that! It is a Brooklyn classic with decor to match that classic look, this is definitely a local favorite and a don't miss opportunity

Best roast beef sandwich in the New York tri-state area hands down!!! Nobody even comes close. Next time you find yourself in Brooklyn make it a point to stop by and grab one of these amazing sandwiches in a classic Brooklyn restaurant that has essentially the same menu since it opened in the 1930s.
